Luisa Spagnoli

Luisa Spagnoli is Researcher at the National Research Council, Institute of the History of Mediterranean Europe, she is a PhD in “Historical Geography” and professor of “Historical Geography and foundations of geographical thought” at the University of Rome ” Tor Vergata ”, Department of History, Cultural Heritage, Education and Society.
He obtained the national scientific qualification for the functions of second and first level professor in the competitive sector 11 / B1 (Geography).
His research activity ranges between the different fields of human geography and historical geography. He has produced some monographs and numerous scientific articles concerning the study of territorial and landscape transformations, the processes of innovation in the field of agriculture, the critical analysis of historical cartography.
It is also involved in various research projects concerning the enhancement of widespread territorial heritage and the re-functionalization of fragile spaces and marginal territories.
