Rossana Ciccarelli is Research Fellow in Italian Linguistics at the University ‘Luigi Vanvitelli’ and adjunct professor of Didactics of Modern Languages for the Master’s Degree in Modern Linguistics of the Pegaso Telematic University. In 2019 she obtained the title of PhD in Linguistic Sciences at the University of Bergamo / University of Pavia with a thesis on word order in early medieval Latin.
In the same year she collaborated with the University of Campania ‘Luigi Vanvitelli’ for the projects From the competence to the performance: improving student’s knowledge and capabilities in literacy and numeracy and Toward a more efficient teaching in numeracy and literacy: a search for a way to improve student’s capabilities.
Currently her research interests concern the transition from Latin to Romance languages, dialectology and language education.
