Abstract

The module proposes a reflection on the transition from fictional to autobiographical writing through La Place et La Honte, to then address the question of autosociobiography and the memory that unfolds therein (Les Années), where the transpersonal and feminine component plays such a large part. Lastly, the increasingly important presence of images in Ernaux’s works, from L’Usage de la photo to Écrire la vie, is questioned in order to demonstrate the importance of the photo album model in her literary creation.
