The seminar intends to offer an overview of the thematic margins that have affected The Inquisition starting from recent research by Dennj Solera. In the volume Sotto l’ombra della patente del Santo Officio. I familiares dell’Inquisizione romana tra XVI e XVII secolo, attention is paid to those figures who made up the inquisitorial staff from the Late Middle Ages to Modernity and on which, considering the various geographical areas to which the Court extended, still require in-depth investigations.
