Abstract
The intervention proposes an analysis of the reception of Cunto de li Cunti in the contemporary world, through the examination of rewritings, illustrations and cinematographic re-readings. If the plots are often safeguarded, it turns out that instead their deep essence is unhinged, starting with the removal of the trauma, a characterizing element of classic fairy tales.
