Marcello Flores is Professor of comparative and Human Rights History at Siena’s University, Marcello Flores became a famous academic historian for his studies on Soviet history. Recently, he published La fine del comunismo (Mondadori, 2011) and L’immagine della Russia sovietica. L’Occidente e l’URSS di Lenin e Stalin (1917-1956) (goWare, 2017). He is also renowned for his fundamental works on the Armenian XIX century genocide and for theorizing the long-standing Human rights history. After being editor in chief of an important collective work on the history of Jewish genocide, Marcello Flores is currently a member of the Italian committee publishing diplomatic documents exchanged between Armenian and Italian embassies promoted by the Unione Armeni d’Italia.
