As the need of academic e-learning courses is nowadays burgeoning, in June 2018 the CRUI (Conference of Italian University Rectors) promoted the “National Programme for Digital University” with the scope to enhance teaching innovation, courses’ inclusiveness, interaction between university and industry, lifelong learning. To win such challenges, it is fundamental to meditate on the best practices to exploit technological instruments and e-learning environment in order to enrich the courses with shared dynamic and interactive spaces, multimedia contents, hypertextual links, frequent updates and either assessment or self-assessment sessions, without reducing teaching quality.
Within this perspective, the workshop co-organized by the Università di Salerno and the Université Grenoble Alpes aims to create a common ground for discussion about e-learning experiences carried out in Italy, Europe, and United States for courses for undergraduate, graduate and PhD students as well as for teacher training. The comparison among the different experiences will enable to individuate effective strategies for academic e-learning courses, with particular attention to Humanities, such as Foreign Languages, Language Teaching, Linguistics, Literature, Romance Philology, History.
