Antonio Ferrara is an independent researcher and works on European history and the history of mass
violence in the 20th century. Author of The Age of Forced Migration (Il Mulino 2012, with Niccolò
Pianciola) in recent years he has published articles in the journals Journal of Contemporary History,
Journal of Genocide Research and Historical Research.
