Giuseppe Noto teaches Romance Philology at the Department of Humanities of the University of Turin.
His studies mainly concern medieval Occitan, French and Italian literature; the reception of troubadour poetry; the medieval and Renaissance theater; didactics of origins literatures.
He is president of the School section of the Società Italiana di Filologia Romanza and vice-president of the Association Internationale d’Études Occitanes.
