Laura Paolino is Full Professor of Italian Literature (L-FIL-LET/10) at the Department of Humanistic Studies (DipSUm), University of Salerno.
Her research mainly concerns Italian literature of the Middle Ages and, in particular, Dante, but especially Francesco Petrarch, of whose works she has edited critical editions and commentaries. She has also dealt with exegesis to the Rerum vulgarium fragmenta in the Humanistic and Renaissance ages. In the field of nineteenth- and twentieth-century literature, she has published studies on Lorenzo Da Ponte, Stefano Tuscano and Beppe Fenoglio.
