Rosa Giulio is Full Professor of Italian Literature in the Department of Humanistic Studies at the University of Salerno.
Coordinator of the Italianists Group, and Member of the High School of Education’s Technical-Scientific Committee, of the Observatory on the Promotion of Well-being Steering Committee, of the Edoardo Sanguineti’s Inter-University Center; of the Domenico Rea’s National Committee; of the Pier Paolo Pasolini’s National Committee.
She is co-editor of the literary magazine “Studi Italiani” and of the series “Le Civiltà Letterarie”, and a member of “Misure Critiche”, “Sinestesie”, “Rivista Internazionale di Ricerche Dantesche”, “Biblioteca di Studi e Testi” Scientific Committees.
Her scientific publication concerns 16th century Italian literature; lyric, epic and tragedy of the 17th and 18th centuries; the relationship between history and the novel in 19th century culture; Leopardi’s texts also in the European philosophical context; 20th century literature; modern literary criticism.
